Experience

Anne joined Grant Thornton in May 2018 as Director of the firm’s all-Ireland People & Change Consulting practice.

Anne brings over 25 years of global business experience to her role. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Anne spent six years in Executive Education as Programme Director of the William J Clinton Leadership Institute at Queen’s University Belfast, working with hundreds of executives to build leadership capacity. Anne has also worked as a Senior Consultant in a Big Four firm in People and Change, working with global clients to develop the skills required in times of great change. Anne has also held a senior HR position in one of the largest Canadian companies; Hudson's Bay Company.

Anne is an executive coach and certified team coach. She is a member of the British Psychological Society, and is qualified in many psychometric tools, which she uses to help individuals and teams understand themselves and others. Anne has extensive experience in cross-cultural team working and the challenge of leading remote / dispersed teams across different time zones.

Sector experience

Anne has extensive experience across a wide range of industries in both the public and private sector, including working with the UK government, local government transformation, ICT, manufacturing, insurance, banking, retail and FDI. Anne is a leadership expert, working with individuals and teams to develop the skills, confidence and capability their demanding roles require.
