Julie joined Grant Thornton in 2025 having spent several years working in in-house roles providing global mobility and employment tax support at group level.
Prior to that, Julie has held directorships in international payroll and assignment management businesses as well as working in both large and independent professional services firms.
Julie has extensive experience across all aspects of the global mobility life cycle and provides pragmatic advice and support around employer compliance in respect of managing internationally mobile employees.
With over 30 years’ experience working with privately owned, publicly listed and finance backed businesses, Julie has experience assisting multinational companies with their UK and international tax, social security and payroll obligations and provides strategic solutions to those entities who are looking to structure overseas operations.
She also supports smaller owner managed businesses who are beginning to develop their international offering. Julie is keen to provide scalable solutions across the board but is mindful that the first foray into international trading for any organisation is complex and requires professional, practical and empathetic support.
