Grant Thornton has been shortlisted in two categories at the annual Belfast Chamber Business Awards.
The firm is the only professional services organisation to be named among the finalists in the “Best Company to Work For (Large)” and the “Diversity and Inclusion” categories.
The nominations come as organisers report a record number of entries were received across the awards.
Grant Thornton Northern Ireland Managing Partner Richard Gillan said:
“At Grant Thornton, we believe passionately in rewarding and recognising excellence. We believe it is right to champion our people and celebrate all that they do, and these award nominations do just that.
“As a firm, we have enjoyed incredible success over recent years with rapidly growing revenues and staff numbers.
“This has been made possible by building a culture aligned with our values that essentially means, people work hard but they have fun doing it – and they tell us how much they enjoy working here!
“Many congratulations to all those named among the finalists, showcasing the very best that the business community has to offer. Good luck on the night!”
The Belfast Chamber Business Awards are considered a benchmark for success in the business community.
The Best Company to Work For award sought organisations which provide an excellent, supportive, inclusive, secure and nurturing environment for their employees.
The Diversity and Inclusion award invited entries from organisations that have exhibited exceptional good practice and exemplary contributions towards improving diversity and inclusion demonstrating a commitment to equality and a genuinely inclusive workplace.
Winners will be announced at a gala ceremony in Titanic Belfast on 20th October.
