Experience
Colin is a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with more than 14 years’ experience in providing UK tax services to a wide range of businesses and individuals. Colin joined Grant Thornton in April 2021, he is a Director in our Employer Solutions Team.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Colin spent over 14 years at a Big Four firm, initially within Corporate Tax, before specialising in Employer Solutions from 2010.
Sectoral experience
Over the years Colin has advised employers on a wide range of specialist areas including internationally mobile employees, employee benefits and expenses, employment status, HMRC disclosures, and general employer compliance.
Colin has a particular passion for designing and implementing tax efficient and commercially effective employee equity reward & incentivisation structures, having worked with many clients over the years in this area. Colin works with businesses of all sizes, including new start-ups, established local home-grown companies, private-equity backed companies, and large international groups.
He has experience across a wide variety of sectors to include pharmaceuticals, engineering & construction, technology, automotive, retail, and brings a wealth of experience to our clients.
