Business advisory firm appoints new partner amid plans to treble revenues in the next five years

Grant Thornton Northern Ireland saw a 45% increase in annual revenues in 2015 - and is aiming for a trebling of revenues over the next five years.

The leading business advisory firm revealed its growth plans today as it announced the appointment of Neal Taylor as a new Partner in the firm’s Belfast office.

In addition to his audit portfolio, Neal has experience of providing a range of business advisory services to his clients, particularly those in growth phases.

Welcoming the appointment, Richard Gillan, Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Northern Ireland, said:

“Neal’s appointment is a hugely positive step for Grant Thornton in Northern Ireland and one which will be a significant factor in facilitating our aggressive growth plans.

The firm had a very successful 2015, with strong growth across all service lines.

We aim to build on that success and, through targeting further growth in areas such as forensics, cyber security and corporate finance, we are confident that we can treble revenues over the next five years.

The key to growth is of course attracting and retaining the best talent. Our focus is on bringing in people who can add to, and thrive within, the entrepreneurial environment that we have here.

With particular expertise in the construction, manufacturing and services sectors, Neal brings a wealth of expertise and a very impressive client list to Grant Thornton and will be a major asset for the firm.”

Neal commented:

“I’m delighted to be joining Grant Thornton at what is such an exciting period for the firm, and to have the opportunity to contribute to the realisation of the major growth plans.”
